Export your Easedesk data — backups and GDPR rights

How to export your tenant data from Easedesk as CSV/JSON for backup, migration, or DPDP/GDPR data-portability requests.

Quick answer

Settings → Account → Export Data. Choose modules + date range, click Export. We generate a ZIP of CSV files + JSON for relational data, emailed to you within 1 hour. Per-module Export buttons are also available on every list page.

Per-module exports

Every list page (invoices, customers, employees, etc.) has an Export button — instant CSV download of the filtered view.

Full tenant export

Settings → Account → Export Data. Pick which modules to include and date range. Click Export — we generate a ZIP and email a download link within 1 hour. Link is valid for 7 days.

Format

CSV for each table + a manifest.json mapping table relationships. JSON is universal-import-friendly for Excel, Google Sheets, Tally, and most other ERPs.

DPDP / GDPR data subject requests

If an individual (employee, customer) requests their data: Settings → Privacy → Subject Access Request → enter their identifier. Generates a JSON of all records about that person.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I export for backup?
We take daily backups, so you don't need to export for safety. Export when migrating, sharing data externally, or fulfilling DPDP/GDPR requests.
Are exports rate-limited?
One full-tenant export per 24 hours. Per-module CSV exports are unlimited.
Can I schedule recurring exports?
Yes — Settings → Account → Scheduled Exports. Weekly or monthly delivery to a webhook or S3 bucket.
