AvailableEaseDesk connects to the AI assistant you already use, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, through MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard assistants use to work with other software. Once connected, you ask in plain words who owes you the most, which items to reorder or what last month’s profit was, and the assistant answers from your own EaseDesk data. It can also prepare a draft invoice, a task or a new customer for you to check. You choose how far it may go (read, prepare, post or send), which parts of your business it reaches, and you can stop it with one switch. EaseDesk also has its own assistant built in, Ask EaseDesk, and reads supplier bills from a photo or PDF into draft bills; WhatsApp delivery is on the roadmap and marked "Coming soon".
Ask "Who owes me the most, and for how long?" or "What should I reorder this week?" and the assistant reads your dues, stock, sales, purchases, bank and reports in EaseDesk to answer. More than 180 read-only tools cover the whole business.
Say "Draft an invoice for Mehta Hardware for 10 laptops" and a draft is waiting in EaseDesk. Nothing reaches your books until you issue it, unless you choose to allow more.
Each connection has one of four levels: Read, Prepare, Post or Send. You tick the parts of the business it may reach, set a limit for every connection in your organisation, and stop them all with one switch.
A connection works in your organisation only and never does more than your own role allows. Every change it makes is in the audit trail under its name, and every call is listed under Settings → AI connections.
Ask Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant to start an EaseDesk trial for you: it signs you up, sets up your business (name, GSTIN, address) and connects itself, once you give it the code EaseDesk emails you. No password passes through it, and it can only read and prepare drafts.
Without any assistant, one search box finds a customer, invoice, payment or task by name, GSTIN, mobile, document number, UTR or amount, limited to what your role may see.
Yes. EaseDesk has an MCP server, so an AI assistant that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol), such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, can be connected to your organisation. You connect it from Settings → Organisation → AI connections, with a token or by signing in to EaseDesk from the assistant.
Yes. An assistant can start your free trial, set up your business and connect itself to it. EaseDesk emails you a 6-digit code first, and nothing is made until you give it to the assistant. You then sign in with a code sent to your email, and you can remove the assistant’s connection under Settings → AI connections at any time.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant use other software through a set of named tools. EaseDesk offers more than 350 such tools, from "who owes me" to "draft an invoice", and each connection sees only the ones you allow.
Only if you allow it. A new connection starts at Read, which changes nothing. Prepare lets it make drafts, customers, items and tasks. Post (issue invoices, record receipts and payments) and Send (email customers, payment links, e-invoices) are separate levels you must choose, and cancelling anything asks twice.
A connection works in one organisation only, acts as the member who made it and can never do more than that member’s role. It cannot touch your team, roles, tokens, plan or settings (it can only do Get started for a business not yet set up), cannot close a financial year and cannot delete issued records. You can limit it to parts of the business, give it an end date, and switch it off or remove it at any time.
No. AI connections are included in the EaseDesk plan. During the free trial a connection can go up to the Prepare level; Post and Send open with a paid plan. Your AI assistant itself is your own account with its maker.
