IRP
Government-authorized portal that validates and registers e-invoices, issuing IRN and QR code.
What it means
The primary IRP is operated by NIC at einvoice1.gst.gov.in. To improve redundancy, six additional private IRPs have been notified (operated by entities like ClearTax, EaseMyGST, IRIS, Cygnet). Businesses can submit invoices through any IRP — the IRN is unique across all of them.
API access requires GSP (GST Suvidha Provider) credentials or direct enterprise integration.
