Form 12BB

Investment and HRA declaration form an employee submits to claim tax exemptions and deductions for TDS computation.

What it means

Form 12BB is the employee's declaration of expected investments (80C, 80D, etc.), HRA, LTA and home loan interest for the financial year. Employers use this to compute monthly TDS. The declaration is provisional — actual investments must be proven at year-end with documents, failing which the employer recalculates TDS in March.

How Easedesk handles Form 12BB
