Inventory level at which a new purchase order should be triggered to avoid stock-out.
What it means
Reorder Point = (Average daily demand × Lead time in days) + Safety stock. Triggers a reminder or auto-generates a PO. Critical for items with non-zero lead time and predictable demand.
