Balance Sheet

Statement of an entity's financial position — assets, liabilities and equity — at a specific date.

What it means

Assets = Liabilities + Equity is the fundamental accounting equation. The balance sheet shows everything the business owns, owes and the net worth of the shareholders at a point in time. Required under Schedule III of the Companies Act 2013 in a prescribed format.
