Delete your EaseDesk account
You can ask for your EaseDesk account, by Big Market 360 Private Limited, to be deleted at any time. This applies to the account you use on the web and in the EaseDesk app for Android.
How to ask
- Email support@easedesk.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my EaseDesk account".
- We reply with a code to confirm the request is yours.
- Your account is deleted within 30 days of your confirmation, and we email you when it is done.
In the app, the same request starts from Account → Delete your account.
If you are an Owner
An organisation must always have an Owner. If you are its only Owner, first make another member the Owner, or close the organisation from Settings. A closed organisation's records and files are deleted after 90 days, as the privacy notice explains.
What is deleted
- Your email address, mobile number and password, so nobody can sign in as you.
- Your two-step sign-in, recovery codes, signed-in devices, sessions, sign-in history, API keys and the app's push registration.
- Your membership of every organisation, with the photo and mobile number you gave it.
What is kept
- The business records of the organisations you worked in (invoices, books, stock and so on) belong to those businesses and stay with them. Your name stays on the documents and audit entries you made, as the law and their books require; it is no longer linked to any email, mobile number or sign-in.
- Records the law requires us to keep, such as the invoices we issued for an EaseDesk plan, for as long as the law requires.
- Your sign-in history and the server logs of what was done from your account, for one year from when it was done, as the DPDP Rules require; then they are deleted.
- Encrypted backups that still contain your details age out within a year.
