Questions FMCG distributors ask
Can I buy in cartons and sell in pieces?
Yes. Each item has a main unit and a second unit with a conversion, so you can buy by the carton and sell by the carton or the piece, with stock kept correctly.
How do I know which stock is close to expiry?
One report lists the batches that are near expiry and those already expired, by item and warehouse. When you bill, batches are offered earliest expiry first.
Can each retailer have a credit limit?
Yes. Every customer carries a credit limit and a credit period, and the outstanding report shows what is overdue and by how many days.
Is there a van sales or salesman app?
Not as a separate app. EaseDesk works in the browser on a phone, so a salesman can raise an order or an invoice at the shop with their own login. It needs an internet connection; an Android app with offline billing is coming soon.
