Questions electrical goods dealers ask

Can I sell wire by the metre and by the coil?

Yes. Give the item a main unit and a second unit with the conversion, for example 90 metres to a coil, and bill in either. Stock is kept correctly.

Can I track serial numbers for appliances?

Yes. Mark an item as serial-tracked, and each unit’s number is recorded when you buy it and chosen when you sell it. You can search a serial number to see whether it is in stock or sold.

Can dealers and contractors have different prices?

Yes. Keep a price list for each type of customer. The right price is applied when you choose the customer.
