How they differ
Vyapar is built for the phone first. Its site lists Android and iOS apps and Windows and Mac desktop software, offline billing that syncs when the internet returns, a barcode generator and scanner, payment reminders on WhatsApp, an online store link and a free plan on mobile. It suits an owner who makes the bills personally, often away from a desk.
EaseDesk is online software for a business where several people do the work. You open it in a browser on any computer or phone, and your billing staff, storekeeper, accountant and CA all see the same books at the same moment, each within their own role. It covers the whole chain: quotation to invoice, collections, purchases, stock across warehouses, manufacturing, GST returns and double-entry accounts.
The practical differences you will notice:
- Where the work happens. With Vyapar, the app on your phone or computer is the centre, and it keeps working offline. With EaseDesk, the browser is the centre, and it needs the internet.
