# Ask EaseDesk about your business

> Click Ask in the top bar (or press Ctrl J) and ask in plain words, such as who owes you more than 60 days. EaseDesk answers from your own records and can prepare drafts, with your permissions. Anything that posts or sends waits for your Yes.

In EaseDesk: Ask (top bar)

## Steps

1. Click Ask in the top bar, or press Ctrl J, on any screen. It knows the page you are on.
2. Type a question, pick a suggested one, or tap the microphone and speak.
3. Read the answer. Each step it took is listed, such as reading your receivables.
4. When it wants to post to your books or send something, a card shows what and to whom. Tap Yes, do it, or No.
5. Click New chat to start again. Chats are kept for 30 days and only you see yours.

Ask EaseDesk is the quickest way to an answer that would otherwise take a report and a filter:
"Which bills are due this week?", "What did Mehta buy last quarter?", "Draft a quote for Mehta like
last month's". On a customer or an opportunity, Summarise gives the story in three lines.

## Questions

### Can Ask EaseDesk see everything?

It sees and does only what your own role allows, exactly as if you clicked through the screens yourself. A salesperson's Ask EaseDesk cannot see what that salesperson cannot.

### Does it act without asking?

It reads and prepares drafts on its own. Issuing, posting to the books and sending to customers or vendors always wait for your tap, and your voice never confirms.

### How many questions can I ask?

Up to 60 a day per person. Its AI use counts against your organisation's monthly AI credits, shown in Settings, AI usage.

### What if AI is switched off?

Ask EaseDesk says AI is paused. Every other part of EaseDesk works exactly the same.
